Municipal IQ is a data and intelligence organisation specialising in the area of local government. We analyse and assess the performance of South Africa’s 257 municipalities using a series of indices and monitors. Municipal IQ’s products are available only through paid subscription. However, we do provide free information to journalists and the public through press releases and opinion pieces (available at municipaliq.co.za), requests for specific information, and interviews.
